Discover the home of Yoga in the sacred land of India. Join me and Rohit in the beautiful town of Rishikesh, North India, at the foothills of the Himalayas for a Yoga and cultural experience that will capture your heart and soul.
For 8 days and 7 nights, we will experience daily practices of Yoga, Ayurveda, meditation and pranayama, as well as incredible cultural activities such as traditional dance classes, cooking classes, sunrise temple visits...and a true immersion into Indian culture.
For this year's India Experience, we are also offering the option of a mountain trek for the 5 nights and 6 days prior to the Rishikesh Retreat. This is in conjunction with one of our partner trek companies.
You are welcome to join us for 2 weeks for both the trek and the Rishikesh Experience, or simply for the second part of the trip!

Your Home
for the Week
Situated in the Tapovan area of Rishikesh, Yogved Hospitality and Resort will be our home for the week.
It is within walking distance to the sacred River Ganges, which we will visit for evening Aarti (celebrations) on some evenings of the retreat.
The Yoga hall is within the resort and so we will have a private and beautiful space to do our practices.
The accomodation will be comfortable double rooms with ensuite bathrooms. With breakfast and dinner included within the price of the retreat.
The Trek:
Gaumukh Tapovan
Sunday 18th - Saturday 25th October 2026
(Trek departs on Monday 19th, accomodation provided on 18th).

The Gaumukh Tapovan trek is a very special journey. It takes you to the very source of the River Ganga, a place of immense spiritual and natural significance.
It begins at the pilgrim town of Gangotri, about 10 hours drive North of Rishikesh. This is an incredible place to witness and you deeply feel connected to the spirit of the river and mountains here.
It is a 46-km trek leading to the origin of the Bhagirathi River, one of the main tributaries of the Ganga. You'll be surrounded by the Bhagirathi Sisters peaks, Mount Shivling, Mount Meru, and the Chaukhomba Peak.
This trek is intermediate level and you will be both camping and in home-stays. Tents and camping equipment will be provided.
